JOB DESCRIPTION: Installation Accessories Buyer
Job Responsibilities
Supplier Sourcing & Management: Identify, evaluate, and maintain relationships with reliable suppliers for installation accessories (e.g., cables, brackets, connectors, tools, mounting hardware).
Procurement Execution: Manage the end-to-end purchasing process, including issuing purchase orders (POs), tracking delivery timelines, and verifying the quality of received materials.
Cost Optimization: Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and lead times with vendors to minimize costs while maintaining high quality standards.
Inventory Coordination: Monitor stock levels of accessories to ensure project continuity; coordinate with the Warehouse and Project teams to prevent shortages or overstocking.
Quality Assurance: Ensure all purchased accessories comply with technical specifications and safety regulations required for installation tasks.
Market Research: Stay updated on market trends, new technology in installation hardware, and price fluctuations to provide informed recommendations to management.
Administrative Tasks: Maintain accurate procurement records, manage supplier databases, and prepare regular purchasing reports.
Job Requirements
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Logistics, Engineering, or a related field.
Experience: Previous experience in procurement or purchasing, specifically in technical, construction, or electronics-related fields.
Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with installation hardware and accessories (cables, mounts, tools) is highly preferred.
Skills: Strong negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency: Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and experienced with ERP or inventory management software.
Language: Good command of English (especially for reading technical specifications and communicating with international suppliers, if applicable).
Soft Skills: Detail-oriented, organized, and capable of working well under pressure to meet tight project deadlines.
