Job Description: Shop Assistant (Nhân viên phụ bán hàng)
We are seeking a reliable, friendly, and detail-oriented Shop Assistant to join our local grocery/convenience store team in Ho Chi Minh City. In this role, you will be the heart of our daily operations, ensuring that customers have a pleasant shopping experience and that our products are always well-organized and accessible. Key Responsibilities
Customer Assistance: Greet customers warmly and provide helpful information about products. Assist shoppers in locating items and offer support to elderly or busy customers as needed.
Inventory & Stocking: Carefully organize and restock shelves with goods. Monitor product expiry dates and ensure the inventory is displayed neatly and logically.
Cashier Support: Assist with basic payment processing, bagging items carefully, and ensuring transactions are handled accurately and honestly.
Store Maintenance: Maintain a clean, hygienic, and well-organized shop environment. Ensure aisles are free of obstructions and entryways are welcoming.
Quality Control: Proactively identify damaged items or packaging issues and report them to the store manager promptly.
Reliability: Act as a dependable presence in the store, ensuring that opening/closing procedures are followed consistently and store security is maintained.
Requirements & Qualifications
Experience: While previous retail or customer service experience is a plus, we prioritize candidates who possess a warm personality, patience, and a genuine desire to assist others.
Physical Stamina: Must be in good health and comfortable with standing, walking, and light lifting (restocking goods) during shift hours.
Communication Skills: Clear and polite verbal communication in Vietnamese is essential to build rapport with local customers and maintain a positive store atmosphere.
