We are seeking a hardworking, physically fit, and dependable Cargo Loader (Nhân viên bốc xếp hàng hóa) to join our logistics team. In this role, you will be responsible for the efficient, safe, and timely loading and unloading of goods onto and off of transport vehicles. Whether you are lifting packages, operating manual handling equipment, or organizing cargo within the transport bay, your physical stamina and attention to detail are essential to ensuring our supply chain operations run smoothly. Key Responsibilities
Loading & Unloading: Efficiently load and unload goods from delivery vehicles, shipping containers, or trucks, ensuring items are handled with care to prevent damage.
Cargo Organization: Arrange and stack cargo securely and logically within the vehicle or storage area to maximize space and ensure safe transportation.
Safety & Compliance: Strictly adhere to manual handling safety protocols and lifting techniques to avoid workplace injuries. Use protective gear (PPE) at all times.
Inventory Verification: Cross-check loaded/unloaded goods against manifest lists or delivery notes to ensure accuracy in quantity and item type.
Equipment Operation: Safely operate manual or basic powered material handling equipment (e.g., pallet jacks, hand trucks) to move heavy or bulky items.
Site Maintenance: Keep the loading dock and transport bay clean, organized, and free of debris or obstructions to maintain a safe working environment.
Reporting: Promptly report any damaged goods, missing items, or safety hazards encountered during the loading or unloading process to your supervisor.
Requirements & Qualifications
Education: High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
Experience: Previous experience in warehousing, logistics, or manual labor roles is highly valued.
Physical Stamina: Must be physically fit and capable of lifting, carrying, bending, and standing for extended periods. You must be able to lift heavy objects consistently according to safety standards.
Technical Skills:
Basic ability to read and understand shipping manifests or simple inventory instructions.
Knowledge of proper lifting techniques and workplace health and safety (WHS/OHS) basics.
Personal Attributes:
Reliability: Punctual and consistent, with a strong work ethic and the ability to meet tight loading/unloading schedules.
Teamwork: Ability to work effectively with drivers and warehouse staff to ensure a smooth workflow.
Attention to Detail: Meticulous in verifying cargo against documentation to prevent shipping errors.
Integrity: Dedicated to handling company property and client goods with honesty and care.
